The San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce (SBACC) is celebrating their 103rd anniversary. Kicking off 103 years serving the businesses of San Bernardino will be their Annual Installation and Awards Dinner. It will be held January 26, 2011, at the Hilton Hotel. Attendees will be welcoming 2011 Chairman of the Board Jack Avakian. The Chamber is also installing the 2011 Board of Directors and recognizing the accomplishments of the 2010 Board of Directors. Beautification Awards will be given to businesses that show pride in the community and their city in three categories; “New Construction” will be awarded to Million Air, “Remodeling of Existing Property” will be presented to Salvation Army San Bernardino Adult Rehabilitation Center “E” Street Store, and “Maintenance of Existing Property” is being given to Arrowhead Country Club. Additionally, the “Environmental Award” will be given to Omnitrans a business that has made a substantial and meaningful contribution to the environment in its manner of doing business. The Chamber will also announce their “Ambassador of the Year” and “Volunteer of the Year”. For the first time Surprise Individual Appreciations will be given to individuals and businesses that make a difference in our community. A Trade Show/Social Hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. Many of our local businesses and service providers will be displaying their products and services.
